What is Feature Management?

The Feature Management module allows you to activate new features in advance, giving businesses the flexibility to test and adopt updates before they're fully rolled out.

Features Overview

Unique Feature IDs

Each Aident feature is assigned a unique ID and can be enabled either for all users or for none. This ensures precise control over feature availability.

User Notifications

When a feature is enabled, users receive a notification prompting them to log out and sign back in for the changes to take effect. This ensures a smooth activation process for end users.

Data Upgrades

Some features may require a data upgrade to function correctly. The system provides tools to manage this process:

  • Preview Affected Data: Before proceeding, click Review Data to preview the data that will be affected by the upgrade.
  • Schedule or Immediate Upgrade: Data upgrades can be processed immediately or scheduled for a later time. When scheduling, the system creates a Job Queue Entry, which can be modified to adjust the execution time.
