What this page is used for
Use this page to link a payment method to:
- a specific Location Code
- a specific Cash Register Code
- a posting Type
- an Account No.
- a Difference Account
This setup determines where payment amounts and counting differences are posted.
Main fields
Payment Method Code
Select the payment method to configure for the register.
Location Code
Specifies the store or location where the payment method setup applies.
Cash Register Code
Specifies the register where the payment method setup applies.
Description
Describes the setup entry.
Type
Specifies the posting type used for the payment method.
Account No.
Specifies the posting account used for the payment method.
Difference Account
Specifies the account used when a counting difference must be posted.
This is especially relevant for end-of-day counting and discrepancy handling.
