How to Set Up Notification Management

In this article, you will learn how to set up the Notification Management module to receive information from Aident.

Enter Credentials

1. Open Notification Management Setup:
   In Business Central, navigate to Aident Notification Management Setup.

2. Enter Client Information:

   • Enter the Client ID and Client Secret.
   • The URL field (Aident's endpoint for notifications) is pre-filled.

Receiving Notifications

Once you’ve entered the credentials, follow these steps to start receiving notifications:

1. Connect to the Endpoint:
   Click the Get Notification button to connect to Aident's endpoint and retrieve notification data.

2. View Notifications:
   After the data is received, it's stored in the system.

   • To view notifications, click the Show Notifications button in the Aident Notification Management Setup page.
   • Alternatively, go to the Aident Notifications page in Business Central.

Note

After entering the credentials, a job queue is automatically created. This queue runs every four hours to ensure notifications are received automatically.
