What is File Link?
The File Link module allows users to link files to any record. You can define link types to categorize your file links and reference those files using any external storage provider.
Define File Link Integration Points
To use File Link, you need to set up integration with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Specify each table you want to use with File Link and add a PageExtension.
Set Up Storage Providers
Specify each storage provider you want to use with File Link.
Create Categories for File Links
Define categories for different types of file links and assign them to your tables. For example, you could create a Front category for any picture that shows the front view of an item.
